TatvaOps is operated for the construction industry community. This Policy applies to visitors, registered members, newsletter subscribers, and anyone who interacts with Platform features including blogs, forums, comments, votes, Ask AI, personalized feeds, user profiles, reputation systems, Site Journals, Vantage TV, Inrush, tutorials, brand directories, and admin-facing tools where you have access.

Depending on how you use TatvaOps, we may collect:

• Account and identity data — when you sign in with Google or WhatsApp OTP: name, email address, profile image URL (if provided by the sign-in provider), phone number (for WhatsApp login), and an internal identity key used to associate your activity across the Platform.
• Profile and community data — username, bio, location, website, profession, expertise, experience level, company type, verification preferences, public expertise settings, reputation score, badges, follow relationships, and content you publish (forum posts, comments, blog comments, Site Journal entries, stories, and similar contributions).
• Usage and engagement data — pages viewed, articles read, votes, bookmarks, feed interactions, search queries, notification events, interest tags inferred from activity, and timestamps needed for personalization, moderation, and analytics.
• Ask AI and support interactions — prompts and responses you submit through Ask AI or related assistants, which we process to deliver answers, improve safety, and maintain service quality. Do not submit sensitive personal data or confidential project information you are not authorized to share.
• Newsletter data — email address and subscription status if you opt in via our newsletter form or footer signup.
• Technical and security data — IP address, browser type, device characteristics, referrer URLs, request logs, rate-limit counters, and a pseudonymous browser fingerprint cookie (tatvaops_fp) used before sign-in to support voting, comments, notifications, and feed preferences for guests.
• Cookies and local storage — as described in our Cookie Policy, including session cookies, theme preference, and client-side keys for votes or bookmarks on your device.

We use personal and usage information to:

• Provide, operate, and secure the Platform (authentication, sessions, abuse prevention).
• Display and rank content in personalized feeds, tag hubs, leaderboards, and recommendations.
• Enable community features: profiles, follows, reputation, forums, comments, and notifications.
• Run Ask AI and related features; moderate content; enforce community standards.
• Send service-related messages (e.g., verification codes for phone login, security notices).
• Deliver newsletters and marketing only where you have opted in; honor unsubscribe requests.
• Measure performance, debug issues, and improve reliability, UX, and content quality.
• Comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, and protect our rights and users.

Ask AI and other AI-assisted tools on TatvaOps generate informational responses based on platform content and models. They are not a substitute for licensed engineering, legal, financial, or safety advice. Outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for verifying any AI-generated information before relying on it for site, structural, procurement, or compliance decisions.

Where data protection laws require a legal basis, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (providing the Platform); legitimate interests (security, personalization, product improvement, and fraud prevention, balanced against your rights); consent (newsletter, optional features, and certain cookies where required); and legal obligation (compliance and record-keeping).

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with:

• Infrastructure and hosting providers (e.g., cloud hosting, databases, CDN) that process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
• Authentication providers — Google Sign-In and WhatsApp OTP services to verify your identity when you choose those login methods.
• AI and communications vendors — to power Ask AI, content assistance, email delivery, and OTP delivery, subject to applicable terms and data minimization.
• Analytics and security tools — for aggregated or pseudonymous usage metrics and threat detection.
• Legal and safety — when required by law, court order, or to protect users, TatvaOps, or the public from fraud, abuse, or harm.

Public content you post (forum posts, comments, profile fields you mark public) may be visible to other users and indexed by search engines according to your settings and our robots configuration.

TatvaOps is primarily operated for users in India. Some service providers may process data in other countries. Where data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform, maintain community integrity (e.g., post history tied to reputation), resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of certain data subject to exceptions (legal holds, backup cycles, or content that must remain for community audit trails). Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe or we remove inactive addresses.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or update profile information via your account settings.
• Request deletion or restriction of certain personal data.
• Withdraw consent for optional processing (e.g., marketing emails via unsubscribe links).
• Object to or limit certain processing based on legitimate interests.
• Lodge a complaint with a relevant data protection authority.

To exercise rights, contact support@withtatva.ai. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests. Anonymous fingerprint identifiers can be reset by clearing cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data, including encrypted sessions, access controls for admin tools, rate limiting on sensitive endpoints, and secure handling of credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use a strong, unique password where applicable and protect your sign-in methods.

TatvaOps is intended for professionals and adults in the construction industry. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact support@withtatva.ai and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

The Platform may link to external websites, brand directories, or resources. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one. Sign-in through Google is also subject to Google's privacy policy for that authentication flow.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. Material updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
