DDA launches housing scheme offering over 1,200 discounted flats from 33 lakh — dda-launches

The Delhi Development Authority has introduced a new housing scheme featuring discounted apartments across multiple categories, with entry-level units starting at ₹33 lakh.

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched a new housing scheme offering more than 1,200 residential flats at discounted prices, with entry-level units starting from ₹33 lakh. According to the authority, the scheme is intended to improve access to affordable housing by making completed residential inventory available to eligible buyers at concessional rates.

The housing scheme includes apartments across multiple categories and locations in Delhi. The DDA said eligible applicants will be able to purchase selected units at discounted prices, with eligibility, pricing and applicable concessions varying by category.

The announcement comes at a time when residential property prices across much of Delhi-NCR have remained elevated, making government-backed housing schemes an important option for buyers looking for relatively affordable homes within the capital.

Interested applicants will be required to apply through the DDA's prescribed process and meet the eligibility conditions outlined in the scheme notification. The authority has also published details on payment schedules, documentation requirements and booking procedures, advising applicants to review the guidelines carefully before submitting an application.

The launch forms part of the DDA's continuing effort to bring completed housing stock to the market while expanding access to home ownership through discounted pricing. For prospective buyers, the scheme could offer an opportunity to purchase a home in Delhi at prices that are increasingly difficult to find in the private residential market. Buyers are nevertheless encouraged to evaluate factors such as location, connectivity, financing options and long-term ownership costs before making a purchase decision.

Further information, including eligibility criteria, flat locations and application procedures, is available through the DDA's official housing scheme notification.
